Strengthening Safety, Innovation, and Teamwork at Craigantlet Quarry

On Wednesday, 11 February 2026, we were pleased to welcome Peter O’Loghlen, Managing Director of Ireland Materials, to Craigantlet Quarry for a site visit.

Hosted by Quarry Manager Pierce Kirwan, the visit included a tour of the quarry and an opportunity to showcase the capabilities of our recently installed Ammann Asphalt Plant. This investment is already enhancing our operational efficiency and supporting the continued delivery of high-quality materials to our customers.

Peter also met with members of our Senior Management Team and engaged with all site operatives through an SLI (Safety Leadership Interaction), reinforcing the strong safety culture that underpins everything we do at Northstone.
