Health & Safety Campaign

Last week, our Health & Safety team delivered a productive three-day safety campaign at Island Aggregates Ltd in the Isle of Man. The safety initiative began on Thursday, the 3rd of April, with Eleanor Forrest Reid facilitating a Manager/Supervisor H&S workshop on their responsibility as leaders for safety and the importance of the CRH Life Saving Rules. On Friday, the team conducted site visits at Foxdale, Point of Ayre and Island Cement, where they reviewed safety practices and engaged with staff on best practice.

The campaign concluded on Saturday with an excellent safety presentation by Stephen Surgenor, attended by all employees and key contractors. This session emphasised the collective commitment to creating a safer work environment.

The visit to Island Aggregates is part of a three month long Safety Campaign, which is delivered annually to all company employees and key contractors.
