Darren McMillan hosted the Northstone Materials hosts our apprentices and graduates

On Thursday, 19 February, Managing Director Darren McMillan hosted the Northstone Materials apprentices and graduates at the Leighinmohr Hotel, Ballymena.

The group enjoyed a delicious lunch, followed by a business update from Darren and an open question-and-answer session. Our early careers talent certainly put Darren through his paces, asking a range of thoughtful and challenging questions.

Topics included:
- Future growth plans for the business
- The challenges we may face in the months and years ahead
- Darren’s own career journey and what he would tell his younger self
- The key skills and attributes they should focus on to support long-term success

It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with excellent food, and, as Darren noted afterwards, there was a genuine buzz in the room.
