Celebrating Siobhan Blaney's 30 Years of Service

On 1st March 2025, Siobhan celebrated 30 Years of Service, having been an integral part of the team since 1995. Starting in Sales Admin to cover maternity leave, Siobhan has grown with the company. It's incredible to think that she began her journey while her son Emmet was just 1 year old!

After a few months, former Scott's Director Alan Hewitt encouraged her to explore credit control, suggesting that she spend time with Jimmy Totten to see if it was the right fit, and it certainly was! Siobhan navigated the significant changes when we brought the three founding companies together into a single sales ledger as Northstone Materials and, in 2007, relocated from Toome to Croaghan Quarry, marking another exciting chapter in our company's history.

Siobhan is proud that her youngest son, Niall Blaney, is part of the Northstone family as a fitter.
