Celebrating Earth Day

As a CRH company, Northstone Materials is celebrating Earth Day by recognising our role in protecting and enhancing nature in the communities where we live and work.

Outside our quarry operations this year, our contracts teams have commenced works with the Department for Infrastructure and Belfast City Council to deliver environmental initiatives such as tree planting along the Stranmillis Embankment.

The additional trees along the Embankment will help improve outdoor enjoyment for local communities, combat emissions and provide extra habitats along the River Lagan, all whilst enhancing user safety along the route.
