2025 CRH Ireland & Northern Ireland Employee Development Programme Launch

On Thursday, 13th March, 45 self-nominated participants attended the launch of the 2025 CRH Ireland & Northern Ireland Employee Development Programme (edp) in Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim.

The Programme objective is to develop and leverage the skills and talents of our people, who have the opportunity to help transform the future of our businesses.

The secret to edp success is that employees from diverse backgrounds with various skills across CRH companies come together to collaborate and identify solutions for real business challenges. Last year’s feedback showed it was a hugely rewarding experience for all, from both a professional and personal development perspective.

The programme will consist of project work led by mentor leaders from CRH businesses, reflecting the real challenges facing our industry, including health and safety, sustainability, and commercial solutions. Participants will also take part in a team-building challenge supporting this year’s worthy charities, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland and the Irish Cancer Society.

Given the success of the programme in the last two years, we can look forward to great things from the class of 2025 when they present their projects to an audience of senior leaders in September.
