High Friction Surfacing Season Kicks-off in Dublin
Northstone's ‘HAPAS’ accredited High Friction Surfacing (HFS/Anti-Skid) crew have successfully delivered over 3,500m2 in Dublin at Chapelizod Bypass, Con Colbert Road & South Circular Road. In partnership with Roadstone, who were the Main Contractor to Dublin City Council, Works had to be carried out on a nightshift basis per the Council “Directions for the Control & Management of Roadworks in Dublin City” guidelines. Permissible working hours were 19:30-06:00 whilst installing the 15 lane junction approaches of HFS. A HAPAS approved Cold Applied (Resin Bonded) HFS system was installed in a very impressive six nights, aided by cooperation of all the Stakeholders to ensure optimal safety, extensive Traffic Management (TM) planning and facilitate maximum productivity.
Congratulations to the collective Team, who once again have proven their expertise, efficiency and ability to facilitate reduced Specialist TM costs for the Client.
