Health and Safety

PRIORITISING HEALTH AND SAFETY

As a CRH business, the effective management of health and safety is our No. 1 Priority. This means that the health and safety is always the first item on the agenda of our meetings as we seek to further develop and embed our health and safety culture across the organisation.

Health and safety is continually monitored by management at all levels by way of specific key indicators with operational staff supported by a programme of audits and inspections as delivered by a dedicated team of health and safety practitioners under the guidance of Divisional Health and Safety Manager, Craig Chisholm.

PLANNING FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY

All operational areas of the Northstone Materials business implement health and safety plans to ensure continuous improvement in this critical aspect of our activities. The delivery of such plans is overseen by relevant senior managers and monitored by the Divisional Health and Safety Manager.
