The new coloured macadams greatly extend the palette of surface finishes available to the client, specifier or architect. The aggregate grading is based on BS 4987 for 0/10mm close graded macadam.
The colour match achieved is depicted in the photographs of the buff coloured material recently laid at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club, near Hillsborough, County Down, Northern Ireland. The colour of the entrance area complements new club building, leading the eye from the car park to the club house.
